We need to add handrails!  Pergola Area Before Rails

Since we had such a warm winter, we were able to start the handrails for our pergola area.   We used pressure treated lumber and wrought iron ballusters from Lowes.   It took a weekend to build the posts and complete the handrails.  Next project, deciding if we are going to keep the TWP Rustic stain on our deck.

  1. and the railing beautifully complement each other. It looks cozy and relaxing! The potted plants around the corner add a fresh look to the whole area too. I would definitely love to stay there for a few hours and just enjoy the fresh air. It’s the perfect reading nook!
